Joining your telemedicine visit via Zoom.
Shortly after having scheduled your appointment with one of our schedulers you will receive an email from Appointments@PRN-Staff.com . If you do not receive this email before the end of the business day, please check your Spam folder. If you still have not received your email, please reach out to our scheduling department to confirm your email address and we will attempt to connect with you via email again.
In the email are your appointment details as well as a link under Join Zoom Meeting. This link is not active until 30 minutes prior to your appointment time. Please follow the instructions as listed below to begin your Zoom meeting.
While you do not require the Zoom app for your appointment it is recommended as it may reduce any delays that can potentially happen in a web browser. Please note that a camera and microphone are required to proceed with the appointment; we suggest using your iPhone and Android if your computer does not have either requirement.
To begin your meeting:
Step 1: Click the link to your Zoom meeting.
Step 2: Enter your Meeting ID. This ID will be bolded in your appointment detail email.
Step 3: Enter the 6-digit password that is also bolded in your appointment detail email.
Step 4: You will be asked if you want to proceed with video; select Yes.
Step 5: A pop up will appear asking if you want to proceed with Audio over internet; select Yes.
If you have arrived before your provider, you will be put in a virtual waiting room. Once your provider arrives they will begin the appointment on their end; you will receive a notification that the appointment is starting and you are entering the room.
If your provider is unable to hear you, please ensure that your microphone is not muted and you have allowed access to the microphone for your device. Also, if your provider says they cannot see you, please ensure that you do not have a red slash through your camera. This means your camera is off or you have not allowed the App to access your camera through your device.

At this time if the following applies to you, we ask that you contact our office to reschedule any appointments prior to April 15th, 2020.
- If you, or someone you have been in contact with, traveled domestically or internationally within the past 30 days.
- If you are feeling flu-like symptoms including fever, cough, difficulty breathing, or muscle/body aches.
Please note that at this time we will also be restricting the number of people in our clinical area to the patient and one caretaker.
In the event that our offices will need to close, we will continue to offer new patient and follow up appointments via a telehealth medicine service available through the internet. Please contact our scheduling department for more information. Additionally, our scheduling department, billing department, and the clinical department will be available via telephone for any questions or concerns.
