Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Princeton and Rutgers Neurology is moving to telemedicine for all FOLLOW-UP appointments as of Monday, March 23, 2020.  If you currently have a follow up scheduled please expect a phone call from our scheduling staff to confirm the date and time of your appointment. Please note the date of your appointment will remain the same, but the time may be adjusted slightly.

Telemedicine is simple for both the provider and the patient. It is a virtual, remote face to face visit. Please click here for detailed instructions on how to use the app “Zoom” for telemedicine appointments. Our scheduling department will be able to assist you in setting up this appointment and answer any questions you may have.

Medicare announced last week that they are covering telemedicine. All commercial insurances have informed us that they are as well, but to be safe, please check with your commercial insurance carrier directly.

One physician will be available in-office to see new patients only.  Please contact our scheduling department to schedule your new patient appointment during our normal business hours.  At this time, we are diligently working with insurances to allow us to see new patients via telemedicine; this may take some time and is not guaranteed to happen.

Certain tests will still be run in the office. These  include: EEGs, carotid doppler studies, video electronystograms as well as repositioning maneuvers.

For the health and safety of one another we ask that if you are coming into the office for a scheduled NEW PATIENT or TESTING appointment that you call from your vehicle when you arrive.  You will be checked in via telephone with our receptionist and our medical assistant will call you back when we are able to bring you to an exam room.  During this time we will continue to restrict the number of people in our clinical area to the patient and one caretaker only.

Our office staff will still be available via telephone Monday through Friday 9:00AM – 3:45PM for any concerns you may have.  We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you updated about when a return to a full opening will be possible.

Thank you for your understanding in this difficult time.   Be well.
